pic of the cadeson compact kit !!! at guitar store .mom was so in on getting that exact kit for me she actually took a pic from her phone !!! for reals . i sware it wasn't me who took this pic even though I'm the one thats gila over it .can't believe after a while in the music store , my mom became a rocker hahaah it was wicked sick ! my hopes on getting a drum kit blew sky high . I knew mom's gonna surprise me on my b'day ahahaha I can read her mind xp

so drumming fever came over like more than a month now. thanks for my idol the master of all drum gods - the one and only COBUS POTGIETER ;) see how amazing he truely is !!! he inspired me to play the drums for real and look where I am now? getting drum sticks was the stepping stone to my drumming career eeheheh, not only that but playing chop sticks in class and folding paper drum sticks is furrrshow down man hahaha don't that just screams DEVOTED FAN YEAHHH !!! love that South African dude muasksksssskkkssksk.

so during the next day after my visit to the drum store at leisure mall. mom became more into the fact that its really happening ! me and drumming whaaooohhh. I never in a million years ever thought my mom would agree on getting a drum kit , better yet ever considering for drum lessons even before I have a kit. how freakin epic yoo. she's awesome . I love her more than ever now. after the whole talk about the drums and lessons , a light bulb pop brightly above her head, and she said : heyyy why not , u came to my church and play the drums??? its free" of course I said YES !!! ahahah how can I say no to that ? my gosh I was freaking out like mad ass. was waiting for mom to ask that question for weeks . and now its really happening HAHAAHHA heart beat exploads outta chest and burst into a million pieces yo. super stoked and shocked to hear that . gotta admit it took some time to finally sink in and get the right feeling haah.

so while I was waiting for mom to get home on a saturday, my nerve went hayywire ! didn't know weather she was actually letting me play the drums ! and if it ever happens , it'll be the only time she ever heard me on drums ! stoked yet freaking out and the same time. had second thought about it . but lucky that didn't let me down. just kept thinking about my idol hahah cobus potgieter ahhhhh how I wish I could play just as good as he is. man that'll be a miracle if that ever happens ahahah . while waiting , I googled cobus and other drum vids on youtube, getting my self hyped and ready . although I didn't know the beats very well, at least I tried playing to drum vids on youtube hahaha the best part was having free drum lessons. didn't hesitate to watch every single episode of it . soon I knew how to play the basic rock beats and jazz. how cool eh ?!?!? all that shit without getting a drum kit and hecks I'm already playing air drumming hahahaha call me weird or whatever. I have a life and I'm sick ya know and its call DRUM FEVER :)

so then mom came home , from the look on her face she was kinda moody. so I didn't let out a word bout drumming. then without hesitation, she told me to get my stuff ready and we're heading off to church in 10 minutes ! gahhhhhh I jumped sky high woots finally its happening yeyyeyeeyey.aghhhhhh couldn't keep it in gaagaagagaga.so quickly ran up stairs and changed less than a minute hahha super speed. and ready to go. brought my baby sticks along with me and yes I treat them as people now, hecks even better then my brother hahaah.

epic stoked and ready , got there and went straight to the hall. luky there wasn't any one there but one problem, wheres the drums ???? for some reason the drum kit disappeared and was gone. my heart sank. but I remembered mom said there were two drum kits ! so we headed to the church stage . it was freaky since it was uber dark and the massive Jesus cross and the only thing that lighted up the whole room. didn't let that bother me when in fact I was super scared of the dark. but when I saw the one of a kind, yamaha drum kit sitting nicely on stage waiting for me to play it, I ran like it was the end of the world. seriously I was that crazy yooo.

even without lights hahah lucky I didn't trip and fell that'll be hilarious to fall upon the stage at church ishhhhhh how embarrassing that'll be lol back on topic, the kit was huge !!! like the size of a myvi car !!! seriously. and it was red luvvvvs how cute . it fits me . also had a sound prove glass surrounding it.judging by the extra cymbals, it gotta be expensive as shit, the kit was coustom with double bass paddles and extra tom toms , plus mic on each tom . was ridiculously epic . gotta admit I was scared to play it since i wasn't that experienced on the drums yet . and maan ohh man I so don't wanna break the church's stuff especially things on the stage next to the giant jesus cross. I'm still a beginner how ever u label it . so yea but I had fun hitting ever single note and trying the different tones . sick ass. as mom was switching on the lights, I played the basic rock beats and she was amazed hahah it was of course the first time she heard me on drums and it was my first time on the acoustic drums too. slowly but surely I felt the grove and played a simple drum solo. shocked and amazed at myself too hahaha perasan yooo. didn't know I had it in me to rock out like that. gahhhhhhhhhhhh cobus potgieter fever indeed. talking bout cobus, he also started playing the drums at church, in fact he records his vids at church !!! so yupp definitly felt just like him behind the drum kits . it was super epic . I still don't quite understand double bass paddles . its effing hard to play with a quick tempo on high hats and bass alone . surely it takes great effort to be just like cobus . gonna reach that goal one day even if it kills me ahahah. felt a billion bucks richer playing it even thought it was just for a few minutes.

of course I felt sad when mom said it was time to head home.I seriously wanted to bring the baby back. then I can jam on it 24/7 heheheh how awesome that'll be yea. then mom had me on drum lessons every saturday at church ! .talked about it for some time and she agreed to put me in for drum lessons. hahhhhhhhhh stoked as shit for next week. haven't met my drum teacher yet so I'm looking forward to meeting him next week or so.went home with a huge smile on my face,hehehe finaly got to play the acoustic drums . and I was like blabing about it ahahah how annoying rite I know.. gahhh perasan betul ni . cheeeh .

Mom said I played to loud at church but dude the sound prove glass was infront of me so I couldn't really heart what I was playing . it was a rather weird feeling behind the sound prove wall. maybe the mic on each tom tom were turn on . she said the whole church could hear the drums hahahah I LOVE THAT TOUGHT ehehe :) bro sounds excited bout me learning the drums, maybe he wants to learn it too . who knows , my family is always shy bunchies . ehehe

so yupp i guess thats about it for today, all about drumming and drumming and cobus potgieter haha. imma go practise on the drum pads and drum stick spinning now . chao :) luvs ~ take care
