 Cobus Contest entries :)) Sunday, April 18, 2010, 9:03 PM what is up ya'll .. so its the week ends again and I'm kinda brian dead now by the heat from the sun DAMN UUUU !!!! why must this freaking country be so darn hot !!! ishhh . well moving on, as you can see, I'm proud to say that I've spent the best 4 hours of my life doing this. I've created an image collage of cobus potgieter , for the contest which is going on till Tuesday. now if you haven't already heard, Cobus Potgieter is having an online contest for the last video upload from the nexus series this tuesday.. so basically the winner gets all access to his last video , like first commnets which might be huge to some fanatic out there *ahemmm ahemmm * the prize isn't that ginormous I supposed , I was hoping for a winning prize of drum sticks or his dvd. but I guess anything is worth winning from that south African dude x) .. also winner gets bragging rights !! lol LOVE LOVE LOVE COBUS !!! call me madly insane or a moron , hecks I don't care even though I've got school tomorrow. I'm on cloud nine as I did have such fun making artsy stuff and blasting out ideas on this project .
 I know mine might be a little too crappy for the winning entry but hell theres no harm nor eligal tickets from officers just by trying lmao. I have to admit, it took a loooooong time to have the drawings done and coloured, plus I took 30+ pics of the art work and narrow it down to just 15 pics. still its a hard decision as to which picture to choose for Cobus Potgieter to see and publish at his facebook fan page.
 excuse the huge mess ! haha certainly made mom's head turn when she saw that. the whole table was filled with papers , pens,markers,glue,glitter,ect. had to brain storm along the way while I was drawing so thats the cause of everything everywhere haahaa.ohhh and the fake hand was my brothers idea xD it looks cool in a way. yet creepy as shitzzers
 while I was brain storming on ideas to take the pictures. my table was messy enough and I was super lazy to clean up. so I just put every single thing on the art work and snap the pic. it looks awesome don't it ?!? See ma ma , laziness isn't a disease at all. in fact it helps cure your badly damanged brain from brain stroming too much lol
 slowly but surely , I got the idea in my head as to what I wanted the picture to look like. grabbed my uncle's walk man , mom's car keys, camera , my shades, cell phone and drum sticks. pour everything on that art work and wah lah.. what a master peice.

 thats my aunts shades by the way. I love love the huge bulky-ness of it. the burger key ring was by far my most favorite thing outta my whole miserable pencil case right now ahahah mom bought the key ring for me last week I guess. and now it has became such a famous burger ring , its much more popular than I am xD lmao
 my said I had too much stuff every where , its hard to find what I was looking for . so I cleaned up and cleared everything out . the pics are much more lighter and not as messy as before.
 forgot to tilt these pics. isshhh had a blast drawing that pic. if you've been following me then you'll sure as hell knows that I posted the very same picture on my previous post . the drawing I did during class lessons. and I just added the redish fire on the drum sticks so it won't look as plain . I've gotta admit the drum sticks don't look like drum sticks at all. In fact it looks like match sticks lmao.. don't cha agree ?!?!?

 this on is gotta be the cutest one outta the rest. I love how the burger is looking .eheeh anyways, if this is gonna be a post bout drumming and cobus potgieter . I might as well write bout my second drum lesson at church with my lovely teacher Jonathan. Overall , the lesson was a blast.I had the greatest time banging on the kits. even though a part of me keeps thinking that I shouldn't be there. hahah cos I've always thought Jonathan was supposed to teach the girls brigades and not me - a loner ahaha I wasn't in any church activities , so I only came for drum lessons every Saturday. well I guess thats unfair to others right?!? ishhhh ermm so I had two other girls who were both younger than I am, learning drums too. it was great having others there to teman me hahaha. I felt pretty anxious since my mom was sitting beside me the whole time the lesson was going on. So the lesson started off and of course I was shakey and nervous. Jonathan wasn't helping me one bit once I was there cos he put me right up first on the huge huge drum kits. and he told me to play the basic beats which he taught last week. it was super cool that he's taking much more time teaching me than to the others.hehehe I don't know what it is but I guess I'm ahead of the group at the moment. I spent the most time with Jonathan on the kits while the others had to watch and learn . kindy scary to say the least cos the church is effing huge , plus the drums was kicking out loud-ness . it was gnarly as hell . my Next lesson will be on saturday same time same place. I'm pretty proud of myself that I was able to get the notes and beats right for the first try . Jonatha promised to teach me a new beat next week so I'm effing stoked for that . yeappp I guess thats wraps up for today :)) Wish me luck on winning cobus Potgieter's contest even though I highly doub't I wouldn't win . ehehe anyways I had a blast and thats all that matters. at the end of the day, we're all still Cobus Potgieter Lovers :) |
