drumming lesson number ?!??
Sunday, April 25, 2010, 6:20 PM

this will be a quick update. I'm sooo uber lazy to type out everything that even doing this makes home-less people question my boredom. xD lmao so moving on, this is drum lesson update number 3? 4? gosh I totally lost count , sry bout that ahaha. ermmm as usual, was a few minutes late on drumming class ishhhh. when I got to church I found Jonathan scrambling around as if he was looking for me lmao. always the late student for class. it was super funny xD but it wasn't of that reason . Soon I found out that the hall and the whole church was being used at the time, and we couldn't play the drums at that moment . my heart sank the minute I heard that. I mean I've been waiting anxiously each week to bang on an instrument. but don't fret, since Jonathan's dad teaches guitar in a private room at one of the church's classes. we didn't hesitate to join both drumming class and gutar class together. it was quite awkward to have people staring at us like loosers sitting behind the class hitting on chairs. yupp since we didn't have a drum kit to bang on to, we improvised a plastic chair as the drum and dang on to it. ahahah very interesting and my first time ever doing that.its quite odd I might add.

so theres a new student during lessons too. she was about 6 or 7 ?? maybe even 5 and wanted to learn the drums at such an early age. her mom was there for support so I was uber shy since I rarely talk hhaa. I sware the look on Jonathan's and my face were price-less at the time when her mom asked much questions on drumming. it was super gnarly to have a parent there to watch the students play. hecks I shooooed my mom out the class the minute I heard we were playing in a private room. she sortta like pictured me and Jonathan as the teachers to drumming, ohh boy I was the eldest student there at level zero haha . it was shyyyyyyyish yo watching the students age range from 6 - 12 and I'm 17 like ftw . *note to self* Like Cobus says : its never to late " so take up anything and everything rather than worry bout the time . Anyways , the class went along rather well, I know that Jonathan was shy enough watching his dad teaching infront of class. I've got to say it was funnn learning drums and guitar at the same time haha two for the price of one eh !! his dad was so uber funny, he so totally made my day singing and playing the guitar. the drum gang behind was slowly getting better each time a song was played. the same rhythm and technique for each lesson now. I'm getting bored. Jonathan teach me something new !!!

there won't be class next week since its labour day, super bummbed out bout that though, mehhh I shall practise the drumming routiens for now. lessons starts back on next next week :)

After my lessons with Jonathan, mom had plans visiting another church. grabed a ride with her friends to somewhere I don't know hha it was scrazy yes I call it scrazy. had lovely hoker food and headed straight to the church. the funny thing about it all was that it's a malay church. I didn't question my mom about it cos I was afraid it might offend her so I just kept my lips sealed. it was weird walking into a church that was half empty. really weird. the stair way up to the church was freaky. there wasn't any source of light and the celling was leaking. felt like being in the movie"the ring" nasty nasty shit. but once we headed to the door way, the priest was sooooooooooooooooooo kind and sweet greeting us first hand. really honoured to be there at the same time.

so the church was kinda run down but they somehow managed to support the needs around the place and I've gain mad respects for them on that. really superb job indeed keeping gods home safe for others . I've never realized that malays support christian religion ?!? is that how you say it lmao. I ain't afraid to say that I seriously got no clue whats this about. I'm Buddhist and I'm going to church , I mean what does that make me ??? a chrisdhist ? lmao thats funnehhh :)

probably the best part of the whole experience was playing the drumsss !!! finally I got my chance to play em' even though it wasn't mine lmao. was shocked to find a premier drum kit sitting at the corner of the hall . it was a like a magnet and I raced towards it haha. asked mom for permission to play it and the priest was so kind to let me bang on em. I didn't play it super duper loud cos I certainly didn't want to brake any of the church's property. hahah mad epic and dang I wished I had a kit like that :)

later once my mom saw that there was a drum kit sitting there , I'm sure she was like " ohh no what have I gotten her in to " lmao. it was a whole jammin area with guitars and bass , keyboards and mics, basically anything you can think of was sitting right there beside the drums.

mom was like : go ahead play the drums . and when I looked up she snap this awkwardly awkward pic ishhh hahaha kinda cool in a way .

camwhore abit with this epic kit * heck that rhymes* lmao. I surely didn't want to leave sight of this baby master piece , wanna bring it home with me. ishhh.. so after the whole prayers , we went home and i was super wiped out cos it was almost 11 by the time we got home.

Basically the whole day was drumming , church and what not. seems like Cobus right haha. gosh I kept thinking of him everything I say church and drums at the same time . maybe its just me but please forgive my Cobus Addicted ness hehehe
